Hi, I am Mana, a Japanese-American mum living in Wellington.

Growing up in Japan, ONIGIRI was synonymous with a happy lunch. Those triangle-shaped comfort food, come with a myriad of yummy stuffing & flavour options, and they are also extremely filling!

Having been an active person all my life, I still find ONIGIRI to be the best source of energy when you need it the most.

Now being a mum of active twins, ONIGIRI is still my #1 go-to for it's convenience, variety, and also for my kids well-being. We all want our kids to thrive on fresh, tasty, and nutritious food, but I'm also painfully aware how laborious and repetitious the school lunch duty can feel every morning.  Oh, and don't even get me started on dealing with picky eaters - it's practically a mission: impossible!!
